Xalent Engineer, Producer, Entrepreneur Artist, Songwriter, Video Editor, and C.E.O of Rock Th Mic Productions was born in New Orleans, Louisiana raised in the 9th Ward’s Desire Housing Projects most prominent for its massive size and crime activities, and New Orleans East. X grew up in an dangerous enviorment but with the help of a strong family X steered away from illegal activities as a child. He founded the group The Franchise in 2002 and started recording his first songs. Singled out for his lyrical and freestyle abilities. In 2003 he also established an independent music production company called R.T.M. (Rock Tha Mic) Productions and started producing tracks for his artists and other local artist. X started to spark the attention of independent and major record companies and started to connect with major artist and producers like Lil Wayne, Mannie Fresh, and Sqad Up. In 2005 Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans forcing X to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia. In 2006 he step up his lyrical and song making ability to record The Prince Is Here mixtape which gave him a heavy internet buzz. He returned to the booth again to record The Dream Duo which was a compilation of 9th Wonder instrumentals. The project help his fanbase to grow more he released G&G Status (Gangsta and a Gentlemen) which displayed his compassionate for the ladies with R&B remixes. In 2007 He returned with "The X Files which was consider one his best works. 2009 he released X Marks The Spot and Reclaiming The Throne which were the all songs he recorded while attending OmniTech Institute. Now he is working on his album entitled TTM2 (Triple Threat Man) which has a 2010 release and also a project entitled Xcalibur.
