- They say the cream always rises to the top. Total Kaos has emerged with a solidified and established sense of maturity, experience, style and business savvy. This artist/producer has been characterized as a “Poet” and “Musical Genius” by some. He gives you jaw dropping, in your face lyrics, while the music production makes you either dance, bob your head or kick back and relax. Total Kaos has a history of turning anti hip hop audiences into fans of his artistry. Although there are times when the stress from still being unsigned bears down on him, Kaos continues to stay focused and loyal to his audiences by giving them what they want, another “Total Kaos Production”.
At the age of 16, Kaos was offered a position at Always Fresh Records as a producer. Kaos seized the opportunity and co-produced his first regional hit single as an artist, “Mo Money” from his then debut album Problem Child. Always the perfectionist, Kaos diligently continued to perfect his skills as he produced music for himself and other artists. At the age of 19, Total Kaos’ career began to flourish as a producer; however his hunger and desire to succeed as a rap artist led him to enter an Anti-AIDS rap concert sponsored by a local Fort Lauderdale television station and legendary rap gurus Ice-T and Uncle Luke (2Live Crew). Kaos’ performance, which led to first place, awarded him the grand prize of a music video shoot. Uncle Luke was so impressed with Kaos he offered him the opportunity to work for Luke Records.
Total Kaos, whose past has paved the way for an illuminating music career, has been seasoned with a plethora of musical opportunities, talented artists and successful hits. Total Kaos has worked with current artist “southern super stars” Lil’ Boosie, Sean J from Field Mob, and, prior to his career jumping off, T-Pain. Total Kaos worked with Rick Ross in a low budget independent film, which was never released due to Rick Ross’s music career being launched. Total Kaos has produced for Platinum recording artist Prettie Rickie on their chart topping single “You Be Mine”. In addition, he has collaborated with Master P for the song “You Ain’t Sayn’ Nothn” and DJ Kizzy Rock on “Let Me See You Ride” featured in Ice Cube’s movie, “The Player’s Club.” Also, he worked with fellow South Floridian Prince Rahiem on his song “Rock Wit It” from 4th and Broadway/Island Records. Total Kaos co-wrote, produced, and performed on the George Benson flavored, “Tutti Frutti Jump” by Outta Order on Warner Bros. Records and “2Live Party” (remix) on Lil’ Joe Records for the 2Live Crew featuring Three 6 Mafia. This track peaked at number nine (9) on the Billboard Charts.
This may seem like quite a history, but Total Kaos is not done. In fact he is just getting started. Total Kaos has a new hit song “Floatin” being played on two radio stations in North Carolina and Tallahassee, and a few underground stations in Miami. He has another hit song “Beautiful” which is also being played in Tallahassee and Miami. If its club music you want, Total Kaos and Lil Boosie have an un-cut song “We Fuckin” being played in the clubs in Tallahassee. There is much to say about the artist extraordinaire Total Kaos, but his music truly speaks for itself.
