Leon Johnson otherwise known as Knox was Born May, 18 1987 in the influential streets of West Philadelphia. As a child Knox expressed a certain love for music which his father nurtured by teaching him piano and composition, Knox played the piano for several years, then discovered a new love, his love for words, This Love captured and changed him forever. The young starving artist found the Game of Rap at the age of 11while still writing free verse poetry. Knox was attracted to writing because it allowed him the time and space to vent out all of his thoughts and emotions which seemed demanding at times.




The year 2000 brought a change in direction for Knox, This was the year that Knox became acquainted with his cousin Forest West, which accepted him into the Blue Chip family from that moment on Knox began growing into the creative and talented artist he is today. The Blue Chip family forced Knox to continuously better himself and become a consistent artist in the hip hop industry. Knox is now 20 and he hopes to be in the industry very soon, He is determined to make his voice and thoughts heard by everyone who is willing to listen
