KNOW YOURSELFQuote - "We know what we are, but know not what we may be.' - Shakespeare, Hamlet. Act IV, Scene 5Playing within yourself' means you do what you know you can do, not what you wish you could do. If you can't hit a straight 300 yards on a par 4, don't try. Take two shots to the green. With only a two shot putt it's par! When you respect your current limits and play your game within them, you'll achieve more, recover less and grow faster. We grow from where we are, not where we wish we were.Accepting our current limits is difficult, but it's a secret to success.

Energy comes from doing the will of God - not from resting from work, but from doing the work we're meant to do. When we do what we're gifted to do we get energized. When we do what we're not gifted to do or are called to do, we lose energy. When we engage our whole heart, mind and body, we get energized. When we're occupied doing something our heart and mind are not interested in, we get fatigued. We're not meant to do more than we're meant to do.At the end of our life we should be able to say, we ran our race, fought our fight and completed our course.

YOUR NAME

Quote -  'No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for i have made you a father of many nations.'   - Genesis 17:5

God changed Abram's name to Abraham ('father of a multitude'), years before he was a father.
Abraham was past 80 at this stage, his wife also past child-bearing.
He accepted the name.

He accepted a reality about himself that could not yet be seen.
He accepted a reality about himself that seemed impossible.
Faith accepts the name before reality comes.
What do you name yourself today? (your name) Vision to the whole world

What is the name God has given you that describes your seemingly impossible future?
Accept it!
God bless you and take care of your self for the nations you are great.

Dear Passion 4 worship member,
Your life can change for the better in a single moment.
You can be going along, doing your best, living a life that honors God, but feel like you’re getting nowhere.
Or you may feel like no one’s noticing. You may be tempted to start giving up on your dreams because at this rate, there’s no way it could come true. That’s where God comes in!
In one moment God can accelerate your life and change everything!
In the Bible in John 2, Jesus is at the wedding celebration of some friends when the party runs out of wine.
Instead of wedding joy and bliss, this setback could have ruined the feast and damaged relationships. And as you know, you can’t make new wine fast. It takes time...a long time.
In fact the process of planting the seed, growing the grapes, harvesting them, producing the wine and then letting it age takes between five and seven years! And for the best wines it can take 30 years.
But in one moment Jesus accelerates this process and does in seconds what normally takes 30 years!
This is not merely a story about what happened a long time ago. It’s a picture of God’s love for you and how He wants to accelerate your life today!
If you’ll step out in faith, if you’ll believe that God can do anything and stay faithful where you’re at, one day you’ll look up amazed and say, “I can’t believe I got here so fast!”
You may be facing disappointment, pain and setbacks today, or even criticism from those you love, but don’t get discouraged. Adversity could be the very thing God uses to take you to new levels.
Remember, God can turn your life around in a moment and move you “further and faster” than you ever dreamed.
we want you to know that we love you and we are praying that God will accelerate your life today.
Thank you for your love and support of this ministry. God bless you!

Give More, Have More

“One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty”
(Proverbs 11:24)

In the natural, it doesn’t make sense that you will have more if you give more. But God’s kingdom operates on the principle of sowing and reaping. This is one of the first things He established with Adam and Eve in the book of Genesis. He said, “As long as the earth remains, there will be seedtime and harvest.”
We have to realize that everything we need in this life has been given to us in seed form. We set the blessing of God into motion in our lives when we plant those seeds and give what we have. Galatians tells us that whatever we sow, we will reap. Seeds produce after their own kind. If you sow apple seeds, you reap apple trees. If you sow kindness and blessing, you reap kindness and blessing in the future. If you sow financial seeds, you’ll reap a financial harvest.
Today, no matter what you need, you have it in seed form. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how to plant and water that seed. Trust Him because He is faithful to His Word. Know that when you give, it will come back to you in greater measure. When you give more, you have more. So sow a seed and watch what God will do!

Walking Through
the Storm

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me”
(Psalm 23:4, NIV)
Everyone faces the storms of life. Sometimes we have the faith to be delivered from the storms instantly; sometimes we have the faith to walk through the storms. But no matter which route you take, you can be sure that God is right there with you. He will equip you and sustain you. He will give you the grace, the supernatural empowerment, to make it through.
Today, maybe you are facing a storm and can’t quite see a way out. Maybe you’re not sure what the answer is. All you have to do is take it one step at a time by saying, “God, I know You have a good plan for my future.” “God, I am doing better today than I was yesterday.” “God, I know You are leading and guiding me.” With every step you take, know that God is doing a work in your life. Know that He is with you, and He will comfort you. Keep moving forward. Keep taking those steps of faith and keep walking through the storm into the place of victory He has prepared for you!

Redeem the Time

“So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days”
(Ephesians 5:15–16, NLT)

Time is the most valuable commodity that we have in life. It’s more valuable than money. You can make more money, but you can’t make more time. When you woke up this morning, God gave you a present called “today.” And with that gift comes a responsibility. The Scripture tells us to redeem the time, to make the most of every opportunity. That simply means don’t let it go to waste. Don’t live this day unfocused, unhappy, negative or defeated. Make the most of every day. God has entrusted you with His life. He has breathed His very breath into you. He has put gifts and talents on the inside of you. You have seeds of greatness deposited in you. You’re a person of destiny, and you have an assignment and a purpose to fulfill!
I encourage you today to evaluate how you are spending your time. Refocus your life. Let go of any distractions. Shake off any self-pity, any discouragement, any disappointments of the past and run your race with purpose. Be careful how you live and redeem the time so that you can fulfill the destiny He has prepared for you.

The Greatness of
His Favor

“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us...raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus”
(Ephesians 2:4–7, NKJ)

Oftentimes, people set their focus on what God has done in the past — how He parted the Red Sea, or stopped the sun for Joshua, or fed thousands of people with just a little boy’s small lunch. Yes, God has performed many amazing miracles throughout history, and it’s important that we give Him praise and glory. But at the same time, we also have to look forward to what God wants to do in our lives today. In this verse, Paul says that “in the ages to come” God would do things that far supersede anything He’s ever done before. I believe that the “ages to come” that he’s talking about is this day and time we’re living in right now. God wants to outdo Himself in our generation!
Remember, God is a God of increase. Where you are today is not where you are supposed to stay. He has greater levels of His favor and blessing in store for you. Dare to dream big! Dare to keep a God-sized vision in front of you! Dare to take hold of every blessing that the Lord has in store for you!

Accept God’s Plan

“ ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’ ”
(Jeremiah 29:11, NIV)

No matter what may be happening today, God has good things in store for your future! It may not be easy to see now, but God has already lined up a new beginning, new friendships and new opportunities for you.
Maybe you’ve experienced some setbacks, but don’t make the mistake of expecting the same for your future. Instead, accept God’s good plan for your life by declaring His truth. As believers, our attitude should be, “Even though the economy is down, I’m not worried. I know God is going before me, and He has promised He will make rivers in the desert.” Or, “The medical report may not look good, but I have another report that says God is restoring health unto me. I believe God has already released healing, health and victory in my future.” Or, you may have a child who is not on the right course. In the natural, it seems impossible. But our report should be, “I know God can do the impossible!”
Today, be encouraged and don’t give up on your tomorrows. Accept the good plan God has for you — a plan filled with hope, purpose, blessing and increase in every area of your life!
