Love it, but don't be ill, be active...and don't be dead, be living...."In spite of," core foundations of black survival. There are freedom trains pulling up to the prison doors trying to collect sons. Time for brothers to get on board, and sisters/tas/tahs too. Until we stop being the "volunteer" product (new slave) for that system, somebody has to fuel that economy? Our eyes are wide open to everything, questions are what are we going to do for ourselves. Talking about it here is excellent way to share and connect our issues.

Most important to me is black men committing suicide, B/B homicide & suicide by cop. How do we build up our men to Live over Dead Men Walking? Personally know too many.

If money rules all black people, does it explain why our children kill each other for it? Black Americans live on a world stage now, everybody wants to know what we do. Question of the day: How do we answer them. If young brothers had the opportunity to live in places like Darfur, do you think they would come back trying to kill another brother down the street? Though in agreement with history, it's time to think outside the boxes we've been living in.

HI, you are right the system is fucked up, (as you put it) You take texas death row for instance, and alot who had unfair trials to start with, you never see a rich man on death row, who benifits from the years and years of appeals some of those poor guys has to go through, who only have state appointment attorneys, (the government) Im not racist either, infact my fiancee is on texas death row, hes black, Im british live in England, See years ago i thought christians were good people, (not saying they are bad), yes inthe bible it says eye for a eye, but it does not state life for a life. Yet christians in texas, seem to like to have blood on their hands, One thing i have learnt in the 6 years ive been involved with deathrow and prison issues, THE SYSTEM IS CORRUPT. I really think times will change, but not anytime soon.

hey i feel you on this i am ablack young lady that works as a paralegal with a law firm that does civil lawsuits but they don't understND OUR STRUGGLE THEY SEE A WAWY INTO MAKING MOMENY BASED ON OUR STRUGGLE BUT I WILL ALSO SAY THIS WE ARE THE PEOPLE AND WE HAVE TO B RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR ACTIONS AND IN SAYING THAT I WANT YOU TO WALK A STRAIGHT LINE AND REMEMBER THAT THERE IS AN EXCEPTION FOR EVERY RULE.

Thank you Tasha...verication of having come full circle. From slave to convict, or product beneficial for someone else's income. Remaining shackled. It's time for us to wake up and get off the "on your way to prison" train. If we know the game as it's played so well, and we do, it becomes a self responsibility not the be the ball...Time to be on a team that wins. Come home brothers/sisters, let's rebuild our village.
